Jeez, More Carbon
No methodology is full proof so that is a "straw man" argument. After all, what airplane flight is fool proof? What surgery? No scientist has ever claimed that C14 is fool proof but they do claim that it is a reliable method to accurately determine a date range. I don't think the shroud ever should have been tested since what would be the point? If it is important to peoples belief there is no need to confirm it's authenticity.
